Please be advised that on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, March 12 and 13, 10th grade (census), 11th grade, and 12th grade students will take the CAHSEE ELA (Tuesday) and CAHSEE Math (Wednesday). Students that are eligible to be tested will be summonsed either to the Big Gym (Fine & Performing Arts students) or to the MPR (Global Issues Students).

This is the biggest CAHSEE event of the year and we will have many students in each venue. Teachers ( especially 10th/11th grade ELA and History teachers), please help us out to supervise the students. During your conference block, please come by the gym or the MPR to help supervise, walk the aisles, and keep our students working without talking!

Summonses will be distributed Friday and Monday, If you have any questions, ask me, Ms. Barnes, or Mr. Smith. Thanks very much
One important detail I omitted: summonses will be distributed to mentoring teachers…please distribute these with all due haste and fidelity!
Dear All,

As you know, our 10th (Census*), 11th and 12th graders who have not yet taken, or not yet passed the CAHSEE, will be testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12-13. Fine and Performing Arts students will be testing in the Small Gym (location changed from Big Gym); Global Issues students will be testing in the MPR.

Your assistance as a door/floor presence is of vital importance. Please make the commitment to help us out, especially during the “set-up” hours of 8am-10am (with this many students, we need people to get students seated, materials distributed, etc.). Please come to the MPR or the Small Gym, depending on your academy, to pitch in for a successful CAHSEE event.

As always, thanks for your assistance.
